Duck Creek Village holds Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. Main Street closes to through traffic at 3:45 p.m. so decorated trunks can line the road, and there is a prize for the best decorated trunk. Duck Creek Community Church follows with Harvest Night from 5 to 7 p.m., with food, games and costume contests. Hayrides run between the two from 4:30 to 7 p.m., so kids can trick-or-treat the trunks and ride out to the church without anyone moving a car. It is a small-mountain Halloween, and it gets cold fast once the sun drops at 8,400 feet. Put a warm layer under
