Ask your AI assistant what to do

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity or another AI assistant to Go Do and ask things like “what’s happening near me this weekend?”, “what invites am I waiting on?”, “ping Sam and my hiking group about the corn maze”, “make plans with Andrea for Friday or Saturday”, “follow BYU’s games” or “did Andrea answer?”

A connected assistant can search every event and activity in Utah, give you your own picks, see your plans, what you follow, the invites and pings waiting on you and how friends answered yours — and, if you allow changes, mark you Going or Maybe, ping friends or groups, make plans with them (one day, or a few to pick from), lock in the day, suggest another day, cancel a plan you organized, set up a private event or activity (once or repeating), invite more friends to a plan, follow events, venues and teams for you, and answer invites and pings, only when you ask.

Add Go Do as a connector with “Sign in with Go Do” — no keys to copy. Your assistant sees only what your account can see, you choose whether it can make changes, and you can disconnect it any time.

Works with Claude (Settings › Connectors), ChatGPT (Apps & Connectors, developer mode), Grok (grok.com/connectors › Custom), Perplexity (Connectors › Custom connector) and Mistral Le Chat (Connectors › Custom MCP connector). The Gemini and Microsoft Copilot apps don’t allow custom connectors yet, only their business versions.

Connector addresses

  • MCP server (sign in with Go Do — OAuth 2.1 with PKCE): https://mcp.go-do.live/mcp
  • Public search, no account: https://mcp.go-do.live/mcp/public
  • OpenAPI (REST, for custom GPT actions): https://mcp.go-do.live/openapi.json

What a connected assistant can do

  • search_events — events by date, place, kind, price or words
  • search_activities — activities to do any time (hikes, hot springs, museums…)
  • get_details — everything about one event or activity, with its Go Do link
  • my_profile — the member’s name, city and interests
  • my_plans — what the member is going to
  • my_invites — invites, private events and activities, and pings waiting on the member
  • replies — how friends answered the member’s pings and plans
  • plan_details — one plan with friends: days offered, who’s in, what’s set, where to meet
  • friends_going — which friends are going to something
  • list_friends — the member’s friends and groups
  • my_follows — the venues and teams the member follows, what’s coming up for them, and what they’ve ♥’d
  • picks_for_me — the member’s own picks, as at the top of their Suggested tab (canceled listings are never picks)
  • set_plan — mark Going, Maybe or Can’t go
  • send_ping — a light “Should we go?” to friends or groups
  • plan_with_friends — a real plan invite (one day = set; two to five = friends pick)
  • plan_get_together — a Private Event/Activity (a get-together) with an optional website, phone, ride and place to stay — once, or repeating every week, 2 weeks, month or 3 months
  • repeat_settings — be in for every date of a repeating get-together, or stop its invites
  • add_to_plan — invite more friends to a plan or get-together
  • invite_friends — the same as plan_with_friends (kept for older setups)
  • answer_invite — answer a plan invite (I’m in, Maybe, Can’t go, Not interested, which days work)
  • answer_ping — answer a ping (Yes, let’s plan / Can’t go / Not interested)
  • follow — the ♥: follow (or stop following) an event or activity, everything at its venue, or a team’s games
  • lock_in_day — the organizer locks in the day friends were picking from
  • suggest_time — suggest another day or time on a plan you were invited to
  • cancel_plan — the organizer cancels a plan or get-together for everyone, or skips one date of a repeating one

Changes (set_plan, send_ping, plan_with_friends, plan_get_together, repeat_settings, add_to_plan, invite_friends, answer_invite, answer_ping, follow, lock_in_day, suggest_time, cancel_plan) happen only with changes allowed, and only when you ask. Dates and times are Utah (Mountain) time.
