This 5K run and walk celebrates Día de los Muertos while supporting the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund, which works to reform the money bail system. The event includes post-race festivities and community gathering that continue for several hours after the race begins. Arrive early to enjoy the full day of activities and cultural celebration.

English:The Wasatch Trails Collective (WTC) invites you to our third annual Día de los Muertos 5K Run & Walk on November 1st at the Tracy Aviary’s Nature Center at Pia Okwai. The 5K starts at 10 A.M. with post-race festivities happening until 2 P.M. This vibrant event celebrates culture and community while raising funds for the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund (SLCBF). SLCBF posts bail for individuals in need in Salt Lake County. They work against the unjust money bail system that criminalizes poverty and disproportionately harms communities of color.
