Delight in the timeless art of ceramic sculpture. With the guidance of a local ceramic artist and teacher, you'll create a small- to medium-sized sculpture while learning proportion and how to render forms in three dimensions. We'll delve into hand-building techniques to make the general structure and foundation of your piece, then explore how to create surface designs and detailed textures to accentuate it. You'll walk away with a unique work of art that you can proudly display for years to come (or give to someone you love). Co-sponsored with Workshop SLC.
