Join us to explore three different methods of bas-relief in glass designs. The best way to understand bas-relief is to see one--take a look at a penny, nickel, or other coin and examine the raised images on it; they're all bas-reliefs. You'll learn how to score and cut glass into strips, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures, and how glass behaves under heat. Think outside the box to create your own textures using the studio's "treasure box" of mark-making tools: tree branches, screen, utensils, ribbons, sea shells, or start your own treasure box right now! You'll create one…
