Timed entry reservations are required for the Scenic Drive between October 1 - May 31 for entry between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Timed entry reservations can be made at Recreation.gov, or by calling (877) 444-6777.Red Rock Canyon was designated as Nevada's first National Conservation Area. Red Rock Canyon is located 17 miles (27 km) west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159.
